David J. Scanlan

David J. Scanlan serves as a finance expert at Astellara. He is a seasoned senior executive with over 30 years of hands-on leadership experience, known for his ability to assess complex situations and deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions in dynamic environments. Most recently, he served as the CEO of Sodexo Government, North America, overseeing more than $400 million in business operations serving U.S. and Canadian government markets.

Under Mr. Scanlan’s leadership, Sodexo Government achieved 35% growth, becoming the nation’s largest food-service contractor to the U.S. Government. The organization provided 130,000 meals daily across 150 installations, with key clients including the U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Army, U.S. Air Force, and various intelligence agencies.

Throughout his tenure at Sodexo, Mr. Scanlan was a pivotal member of the global Senior Leaders Group and the North America Regional Leadership Committee, contributing to the company’s worldwide growth and strategic initiatives. He held multiple leadership roles, including Finance Director, Assistant Treasurer, Vice President of Treasury and Finance, and two Chief Financial Officer positions overseeing operations across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.

Beyond his professional achievements, Mr. Scanlan has demonstrated a commitment to service and community leadership. Since 2005, he has served on the Board of Directors for Nana Management Services, a certified Minority Business Enterprise. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Armed Services YMCA, supporting the needs of military families.

Mr. Scanlan earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Bentley University.
